ORGY OF GREED

Ever since I have known Tom, his mom has called Christmas the Orgy of greed.   With good reason.  It doesnt matter if you "cut" back, somehow there always seems to be a massive amount of stuff. We had such a great time.  This year Tom and I decided to stay put at the house.  In the morning Toms Mom and Dad came over and then in the afternoon my family came over for an early dinner, then at 7 we went to see Bedtime Stories with our good friends Ira and Devon.

She went straight for the car
and stayed put for about 2 hrs.
Santa did good.

This is the only thing she opened.  You will notice there are not
to many pictures of her.

"mom wrong thing" I guess it was suppose to be a Nintendo DS.
Who knew? lol.

Santa (aka, Jen)  brought me a new coach bag... Do I look surprised
enough?

Our neighbor was hiding his wife's present in our basement and
he came over to get it that morning, and this is what I found.
Okay, that is funny!

All the boys (Tom and my brothers) playing Rockband

Jason and Lindsey

My nephew Corbin with Paytens PINK horse.  hmmmm?

Dinner hangover

My brother Eric, sister-in-law Megan and Corbin

Arianna's favorite piece of clothing she got.  At the end of it all
she said to me, "mom I feel like all I did was open clothes"

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and Have a great New Year!!

The night before Christmas when all through the house...

Ari was stirring..... and stirring.  Who gave that kid so much sugar at the Christmas party?
When we came home from our classic Richardson Family Christmas party (forgot the camera) all she wanted to do was open presents. So she opened her Christmas Eve present (P.J.'s) and her friend Alexa dropped a gift off, so she got to open that.

Sledding

Tom took Arianna sledding on a big hill over by our house.  She "LOVED" it.  However report came back that the smile on her face didnt last very long.
If you look real close on picture 3.... are those tears?  hmmmmm.

Seven going on Twenty- Three

Oh man... she is getting so big!! For Christmas my BFF Sarah did Arianna's nails.   Ari wanted nails that "tap".  She begged and since she is out of school, we decided why not.  She was perfect.  I think Im in trouble.

Winter WonderLand

Oh the great storm.  The day before Christmas Eve we were blasted.  I mean blasted.  In about 5 hours we had 13 inches of snow.  Tom left to get the ham from the Honeybaked store in Orem, by the time he got home this is what it looked liked.  He got high centered in our driveway. He had to take the Armada to pull himself out.  I have a friend who said it best... "it looks like a war zone".  Cars were having troubles driving down the road in the neighborhood and there were cars parked all over the street because no one could get in there driveway.  Now there is no where else to push the snow.  We have big walls made of snow in the hood.  CRAZY!

O-R-E-O

This was Payten's first Oreo experience.  Like a good mom, I did not put her in her high chair and for about the next week found lil' Oreo prints on my floor.  mmmmmm......

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

We went to the "adult only" christmas party the other night.  We got home sent the sitters home and put Ari to bed.  We were picking up the house, and Tom went into the bathroom and this is what he found.................................

Santa in the Fire Truck

We live a block away from the fire station and every year Santa drives through the neighborhood on the fire truck.  Every year it gets me.  I hear the sirens going and wonder what is going on.  Then it always clicks.  I end up running around the house looking for shoes and a coat for Ari before she misses it.  It is so fun to see all the kids line the street waiting for Santa.

In the shower

I was doing my hair the other morning.  Payten was playing in the bathroom, and when I turned around and looked this is what I saw.  Payten in the shower, just hanging out.
 Funny kid.

Our House....

This post is for Malea.  I think she asked me in October to post some pictures.  Sorry it took so long.  Tom had to run out tonight and the kids were asleep, so I thought it would be the perfect time.   I think most of the rooms have been redone sense you have been here.  We also ripped the carpet out of the hall and added the wood. I think that is it.  Also Tom's office, but it looks like a bomb hit it.  Use your imagination.  :)  Enjoy.
